This notification is made in order to fulfill the obligation of disclosure in Article 10 of the "Law on the Protection of Personal Data (Law) No. 6698.

In order to ensure the appropriate level of security, in order to prevent the unlawful use of your data and to ensure its preservation, while processing all personal data shared by the Personal Data Owners (Data Subjects) in accordance with the Law, the Constitution and human rights, Directorate Of Rotary Capital Management Of Istanbul Ataturk Cultural Center AKM) takes the necessary measures.

AKM takes the highest level of security measures possible within the framework of the relevant legislation in order to collect, store and share personal data in accordance with the law and to protect its confidentiality. With the awareness of this responsibility, we, as AKM, as the data controller, process your personal data as explained below and within the framework of the legislation, within the scope of the Law No. 6698.

1. For What Purposes Personal Data Will Be Processed

Personal data collected from Data Subjects are processed for the following reasons within the scope of the services carried out within the Atatürk Cultural Center and within the framework of Articles 5 and 6 of the Law. Personal datas are processed for the purposes of,

• Management and execution of services, events, organizations and projects carried out by AKM,
• Carrying out processes of events and fulfilling obligations such as organizing events, and communicating with participants,
• Access to the contact information allowed for the purpose of informing, promoting and marketing the products and services offered by AKM through communication channels,
• Publishing the oral, written, visual and audio recordings obtained within the scope of the events offered by AKM,
• Customizing the services and products offered by AKM according to the preferences of the Data Subject,
• Conducting studies, surveys, social media studies,
• Sharing images of events and meetings to AKM on physical and digital platforms,
• Carrying out the processes of receiving, evaluating and finalizing the requests, complaints, opinions and suggestions of the Data Subjects,
• Fulfillment of public security and legal obligations within the scope of all activities and services carried out.
• Ensuring the security and control of physical spaces belonging to AKM with camera recording and other systems
• Using it as evidence in legal disputes that may arise in the future and fulfilling the burden of proof

2. To Whom Personal Data Can Be Transferred And For What Purpose

The personal data obtained can be transferred within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, with business partners, suppliers, legally authorized third parties and if requested, official authorities in line with the purposes set forth in the relevant legislation and Information Notice .

3. Method and Legal Reason for Personal Data Collection

Personal data is collected and processed within the framework of Article 5 of the Law and the frame of the relevant legislation, due to the legal reason that it is compulsory for the legitimate interests of the Data Controller, taking care not to harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Data Subjects. Personal data can be collected through all communication tools, systems established to ensure security, and in physical environments.

4. Other Rights of the Related Person Enumerated in Article 11 of the Law

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, each person has the right to request to the Data Controller about him/her;

• to learn whether his/her personal data are processed or not,
• to demand for information as to if his/her personal data have been processed
• to learn the purpose of the processing of his/her personal data and whether these personal
• data are used in compliance with the purpose,
• to know the third parties to whom his personal data are transferred in country or abroad,
• to request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any,
• to request the erasure or destruction of his/her personal data under the conditions referred to in Article 7,
• to request reporting of the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom his/her personal data have been transferred,
• to object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems,
• to claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of his/her personal data.

Data Subject may submit their requests and complaints with the Application Form on website to Article 11 of the Law “Regulating the Rights of the Data Subject” and in accordance with the “Communique on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”. The Personal Data Owner Application Form, in which requests, suggestions and complaints are stated, can be sent to the address of Directorate Of Rotary Capital Management Of Istanbul Ataturk Cultural Center in writing to AKM’s address or to the KEP address or e-mail address.

AKM finalizes the requests in the application as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the request.
