Think of a happy country that lives in clover where the Padishah is open-handed and big-hearted… Then, what may it be… As with all humankind, this soft-hearted padishah also has a flaw: pluming himself on all sorts. The Vizier, who loves the Padishah very much, implores on him to listen to the parable of the Blind Man that lives in the neighbouring land where he is known for his generousity, so that the Padishah would draw a lesson. Together, they change clothes and dress like two merchants, whereupon set out on their way. Thereby, an adventurous journey begins for the Vizier and the Padishah. In their quest, they are to trace one mystery after another so as to unravel others. Traversing roads day and night, they listen to many stories that set examples for humankind who are weighed with many foibles. Stories of different people who are victims of foibles from different lands, and different occupations… In each, they have tactlessly made mistakes and dragged themselves into remorse that would take its toll many years over. The mistakes that have been made surely cannot be undone nor atoned but they can be, by getting about from word of mouth, be examples for all from all around, let aside merely being examples for the good-hearted padishah.

Tale Within a Tale, committed to paper deriving from the heirloom tales by Ahmet Ümit, presents, like all other ancient tales of the east, the description of the good to the humankind, who possesses both good and evil in its disposition.

Event Rules
  • Tickets purchased cannot be returned or changed unless the event is cancelled or the date is changed.
  • Children's Art Festival event tickets can be purchased via Biletinial, Sanat Cepte and AKM Box Office.
  • All events that will take place at AKM are subject to special rules due to the pandemic. Anyone who buys a ticket is deemed to have agreed to abide by these rules and sanctions.
  • AKM Management reserves the right to deny entry to the event area by refunding the tickets of the persons it deems unsuitable for the event.
  • Children who do not meet the age range specified on the event page will not be admitted to the event area and their tickets will not be refunded.
  • Parents who will attend the performances in the halls are also subject to buying a ticket.
  • During the representation recording with cameras, mobile phones and other recording devices is prohibited. Recording devices will not be allowed in the venues.
  • After the event has started, no spectators will be allowed in the hall.
  • It is necessary to be ready at the gate of the event with the ticket at least half an hour before the event start time.
  • There may be changes in the event venues due to force majeure. AKM management will prepare a seating plan that will provide the closest seat in accordance with the ticket numbers for our audience in the new venue. Purchased tickets are non-refundable due to venue changes.
  • Guests must comply with the specified seating arrangement. Location changes are not allowed during the event.
  • It is forbidden to enter places outside the specified areas with food or drink, to use tobacco and tobacco products or electronic cigarettes.
  • Our free events to be held in open areas are limited to a certain capacity, and if the capacity is full, entrances to the area will not be permitted.
  • It is mandatory to comply with the rules in accordance with the security measures in the area.
  • Within the framework of the festival, parents will not be able to enter our workshops that will take place at the Children's Art Centre.
  • The right to use the photographs and video footage of the people participating in the event in the promotional materials belongs to the Organizer company, and the participant accepts the use of this right by participating in the event.
