This year marks the fourth edition of the İstanbul Digital Art Festival, which gathers artists from around the world to explore the boundaries of digital art. The event aims to explore the interaction between virtual worlds and reality and its impact on human experience, celebrating the transformation of art. The festival invites visitors on a journey through virtual worlds via art, music, and games.

The artists at the festival transcend traditional art definitions with their AV performances, opening the doors to virtual reality and deeply exploring the quest for reality in digital art. The digital world provides a platform for redefining identity and reality, encouraging participants to rethink the concepts of identity and reality.

Using digital tools, artists interpret reality from different angles, offer alternative perspectives, and challenge traditional norms. They also create unique experiences in the digital world with their original music compositions. Through games, participants can build their digital identities and more closely examine the interaction between the virtual world and reality. From textile arts to wearable technology, from digital music to games, they express emotions and experiences in innovative ways through digital works. They push the boundaries of virtual and augmented reality with technologies like XR, AR, VR, and AI.

The festival navigates the line between the digital world and reality, encouraging exploration of the impact of digital identities on our real-world selves. This allows participants to better understand how art shapes our identities across different realities.

This year's festival focuses on examining the deep relationship between humans and technology. It explores how identity construction in virtual worlds can affect real-world identities and invites all visitors to explore the endless potential of digital art. The festival, held at the Atatürk Cultural Centre, offers a unique experience filled with gateways to virtual worlds.
