Istanbul Digital Art Festival 2026
The Istanbul Digital Art Festival, an international platform where artificial intelligence, new media, and digital technologies meet art, is meeting art lovers for its sixth edition with the theme "Reimagining as Retelling."
This year's festival will take place at the Atatürk Cultural Center between June 3-7, 2026, and, focusing on art and artificial intelligence, invites viewers to rethink individual creativity and collective memory from a more inclusive perspective.
In the festival, artificial intelligence is treated not only as a technology but also as a creative tool that transforms the ways artists reinterpret, think, and produce. Works that reinterpret traditional art disciplines with artificial intelligence and digital technologies bring together the cultural heritage of the past with the creative forms of the future, offering a new perspective on the transforming language of art.
Starting from the questions "What is value? For whom and how is it produced?", the festival focuses on the power of art to question and reshape social values, while also opening up a discussion on the place of artificial intelligence in the new social narrative. Organized under the theme "Retelling, Reimagining," the festival aims to explore future forms of creation by reinterpreting past narratives.
Open to the public and free of charge, the festival will feature digital art exhibitions, audiovisual performances, sound and visual shows, theatre performances, panels, workshops, and master classes.
The Istanbul Digital Art Festival 2026 brings together everyone who wants to contemplate the art of the future at the AKM (Atatürk Cultural Center).
