Dance
For centuries, flamenco has been the language of sorrow, love, rebellion, and hope. Now, this powerful art form comes to Türkiye to draw attention to the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in Gaza.
A special flamenco performance organized by the Cristina Heeren Foundation — in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, the Embassy of Spain, and the Honorary Consulate of Spain in Muğla — will be staged in Ankara and Istanbul in support of Gaza. This time, dance, music, and song will rise for peace, justice, and hope in Gaza.
Months of ongoing attacks in Gaza have claimed the lives of thousands of innocent children, women, and civilians, while schools and hospitals have been destroyed and access to basic humanitarian needs has become impossible. To highlight this tragedy and strengthen solidarity, all ticket proceeds will be donated directly to Gaza through the Turkish Red Crescent.
The deep-rooted friendship and diplomatic cooperation between Spain and Türkiye will once again be underscored through this meaningful event. The centuries-old ties of friendship between the two nations grow even stronger through their shared commitment to raising a united voice against the suffering in Palestine.
