L.V. BEETHOVEN PROMETHEUS OVERTURE Op.43
The Creatures of Prometheus Ballet was composed by Ludwig van Beethoven in 1801, with a libretto by Salvatore Viganò. Its first performance was on March 28, 1801, at the Burgtheater in Vienna. Over the years, the Prometheus Overture has been performed countless times by orchestras around the world.

Composed in 1868, this concerto is likely Saint-Saëns' most popular piano concerto. Dedicated to Madame A. de Villers, it was first performed on May 13, 1868, with the orchestra conducted by Anton Rubinstein and the composer himself as the soloist. This concerto is one of Saint-Saëns' most beloved and frequently performed works.

Composed in 1788, this is the last and longest symphony by the genius composer W.A. Mozart. The symphony, which consists of four movements, was not named Jupiter by the composer but by Johann Peter Salomon, who later arranged it for piano.
İBRAHİM YAZICI
Born in Ankara in 1970, İbrahim Yazıcı studied piano, composition, and conducting at the Ankara State Conservatory. He continued his studies at the Conservatoire Regionale de Musique de Perpignan, graduating with three Premier Prix. Additionally, he studied with Gilbert Varga and participated in master classes in various European countries. Yazıcı completed his master’s degree at Hacettepe University and later finished his doctoral studies at Dokuz Eylül University after starting at Bilkent University.
İbrahim Yazıcı's extensive and diverse conducting career began at the Ankara State Opera in 1995. He quickly went on to conduct orchestras such as the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Brandenburg State Orchestra, Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, Camerata de France, and Ensemble Resonanz Hamburg. He has performed with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra and all major symphony orchestras in Türkiye, as well as at prestigious concert halls including Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna Konzerthaus, Essen Philharmonie, Moscow International Music House, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Liederhalle Stuttgart, Palais des Beaux Arts Bruxelles, Berlin Konzerthaus, Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center, and Seoul Arts Center. In 2000, he conducted "Suor Angelica" and "Gianni Schicchi" at the Puccini Festival in Valencia. In April 2008, he performed with the Turkish Presidential Symphony Orchestra at the International Music House in Moscow. Yazıcı has also participated in the European Music Summer Berlin, CBS Korea, Bella Pais, Mersin, and İstanbul International Music Festivals. In 2012 and 2013, he conducted Fazıl Say's Nazım Oratorio to great acclaim in Wuppertal, Essen, and Frankfurt.
Yazıcı has recorded numerous works by Turkish composers such as Ahmed Adnan Saygun, Fazıl Say, Muammer Sun, and Turgay Erdener on CD and DVD.
İbrahim Yazıcı received the Artistic Encouragement Award from Hacettepe University in 2002, the Cavaliere dell'Ordine della Stella d'Italia from the President of Italy in 2005, and the Conductor of the Year award in 2012. Since 2017, Yazıcı has also turned to composition and has taught at Hacettepe University, Ankara State Conservatory, and Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts. From 1998 to 2007, he served as the chief conductor of the State Polyphonic Choir, leading the ensemble in performances around the world, receiving numerous awards, making recordings, and preparing a comprehensive repertoire. He served as the General Music Director of the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra from 2007 to 2012, as well as the conductor of the Mersin State Opera and Ballet from 2013 to 2015, and the İzmir State Opera and Ballet from 2015 to 2023. As of the 2023-2024 season, Yazıcı has been appointed the Music Director of the İstanbul State Opera and Ballet. He also serves as the Artistic Director of the Karşıyaka Chamber Orchestra (KODA).
İLYUN BÜRKEV
15-year-old İlyun Bürkev began his piano education at the age of 4. He continues his studies at the Istanbul State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with Prof. Burcu Aktaş Urgun, state artist pianist Gülsin Onay, and Prof. Pavel Gililov at the University of Salzburg Mozarteum.
İlyun Bürkev has won numerous awards in international piano competitions, including the 3rd International Jeune Chopin Piano Competition organized by the Chopin Institute. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Izmir, Doğuş, and Çukurova Symphony Orchestras and has given concerts with conductors Nil Venditti, Rengim Gökmen, Hasan N. Tura, and Tolga Atalay Ün.
He has participated in master classes with renowned pianists such as Alfred Brendel, Andreas Weber, Björn Lehmann, Caspar Frantz, Hüseyin Sermet, Milana Chernyavska, and Piotr Paleczny.
İlyun Bürkev was the soloist in an 11-concert tour in Germany with the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn and conductor Alexander Hülshoff. The first concert, where he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3, took place on September 25, 2023, at the Konzerthaus Berlin. The tour continued successfully with concerts at Bielefeld Rudolf-Oettker-Halle, Bremen Die Glocke, Bonn Maritim Hotel, Hannover Landesfunkhaus, Hamburg Laeiszhalle, Karlsruhe Konzerthaus, Nuremberg Meistersingerhalle, Stuttgart Liederhalle, Wiesbaden Kurhaus, and Munich Herkulessaal.
