The 52nd Istanbul Music Festival, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), once again heralds summer with an opening full of the energy of youth, the warmth of love and the magic of music. 15-year-old pianist İlyun Bürkev, displaying a captivating virtuosity beyond her age, makes her festival debut with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the eminent conductor Cem Mansur, who will be receiving the Istanbul Music Festival Honorary Award before the concert.
