Concert
In the scope of the Beyoğlu Culture Route Festival organized by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, János Balázs, a prominent, many prize-holder pianist from Hungary, will be in Türkiye for the first time for an unforgettable concert to meet music-lovers. Balázs, a graduate of the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, dedicates this concert to his master on the 175th anniversary of the world-famous Hungarian composer Ferenc Liszt's visit to Istanbul.
The concert is to be held with the support of the Hungarian Embassy, Consulate General, and Liszt Institute İstanbul Hungarian Cultural Center. The concert is part of the "Cziffra100" event series.
Cziffra100:
The 100th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous Hungarian pianist György Cziffra has been officially declared a commemorative year in Hungary and has also been added to UNESCO's "Anniversary List". Under the artistic leadership of pianist János Balázs, the Cziffra100 programme takes place in professional partnerships with a number of institutions, orchestras and partners in the most important cities of the music world as well as in Hungary. György Cziffra Memorial Year is also sponsored by Hungarian Prime Ministry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Consulate General of Hungary in Istanbul and Bethlen Gábor Alapkezelő Zrt.
