Within the scope of the personal exhibition of Nigar Helmi Abbasbeyli, The Legacy of Karabagh, Atatürk Cultural Center opens its doors to an art exhibition comprised of a selection of works and masterpieces of “Miras” brand. Among the works the artist has recently dedicated to Karabagh and those in which he made experimentations on various painting types, the works “Govhar Ağa Mosque”, “Ruins of the Nightingale’s House”, “Ruins of Panakh Ali Han Palace”, and “Varazgun Temple” come to forth.
The artworks that will be exhibited at the AKM Art Gallery between May 12 and 22, have been included in many art expositions and exhibits such as Carousel De Louvre organized by Association des Artistes Contemporains de Turquie à Paris, Art3f Monaco International Contemporary Art Exposition, and ART EXPO NEW YORK. The exhibition sheds light on the endless sky of Karabagh and the heartrending ruins left behind, where the paintings in which Nigar, with a firm resolution, has depicted the lashing of the light in a bold and invigorating manner with broad brushstrokes. In the exhibition The Legacy of Karabagh, Nigar Helmi draws a definite line between art and the assertion of art. She creates a new category for “gracefulness” and a “time chronicler”, defies the sensitivity of sense, and leaves exciting ideas in the minds of her audience. “Miras” reflects a materialized version of infusion of the traditional jewelry crafts and modern trends through the traditions of Azerbaycan and prism of culture. Each piece of “Miras” jewelry has a specific meaning, its own philosophy, and a unique design that reflects the personality and inner world of its owner.
