Red Shoes


Karen, a poor servant girl, loves to dance. However, her worn-out shoes and the lady she takes care of do not allow her to dance and have fun. One day, an evil-hearted beggar comes to town and tricks Karen into wearing magical red shoes. Now, thanks to the red shoes and the magical button, Karen is under the control of the evil-hearted beggar. The beggar kidnaps Karen from her town and begins to earn money off her back by making her dance. With the help of the beggar's good-hearted jester Jemmo, the shoemaker's apprentice Nels, the town's mayor, and Karen's grandmother, Karen is freed from the red shoes and the beggar. At the end of the play, everyone becomes happy except for the evil-hearted beggar.

Event Rules
  • Tickets purchased cannot be returned or changed unless the event is cancelled or the date is changed.
  • Children's Art Festival event tickets can be purchased via Biletinial, Sanat Cepte and AKM Box Office.
  • All events that will take place at AKM are subject to special rules due to the pandemic. Anyone who buys a ticket is deemed to have agreed to abide by these rules and sanctions.
  • AKM Management reserves the right to deny entry to the event area by refunding the tickets of the persons it deems unsuitable for the event.
  • Children who do not meet the age range specified on the event page will not be admitted to the event area and their tickets will not be refunded.
  • Parents who will attend the performances in the halls are also subject to buying a ticket.
  • During the representation recording with cameras, mobile phones and other recording devices is prohibited. Recording devices will not be allowed in the venues.
  • After the event has started, no spectators will be allowed in the hall.
  • It is necessary to be ready at the gate of the event with the ticket at least half an hour before the event start time.
  • There may be changes in the event venues due to force majeure. AKM management will prepare a seating plan that will provide the closest seat in accordance with the ticket numbers for our audience in the new venue. Purchased tickets are non-refundable due to venue changes.
  • Guests must comply with the specified seating arrangement. Location changes are not allowed during the event.
  • It is forbidden to enter places outside the specified areas with food or drink, to use tobacco and tobacco products or electronic cigarettes.
  • Our free events to be held in open areas are limited to a certain capacity, and if the capacity is full, entrances to the area will not be permitted.
  • It is mandatory to comply with the rules in accordance with the security measures in the area.
  • Within the framework of the festival, parents will not be able to enter our workshops that will take place at the Children's Art Centre.
  • The right to use the photographs and video footage of the people participating in the event in the promotional materials belongs to the Organizer company, and the participant accepts the use of this right by participating in the event.
