In the first part of its February concert, the Presidential Classical Turkish Music Choir will perform Mâhur Kâr, composed in the 14th century by Abdülkadir Meragî, and select works composed by great composers of the classical period such as Crimean Khan Gazi Giray, Eyyubî Ebubekir Ağa, İsmail Dede Efendi, and Dellâlzade İsmail Efendi. In the second part, the concert's first soloist, Taha Aras, will perform Kürdîlihicazkâr pieces by neoclassical composers Mustafa Sunar, Rahmi Bey, and Vali Ahmet Mithat Bey. Soloist Filiz Oral will appear before the audience with neoclassical era pieces in Hicaz mode by Şekerci Cemil Bey, Udî Hırant, and Şemseddin Ziya Bey. The concert, conducted by Mehmet Güntekin, will conclude with Hüseynî pieces performed by the choir.
