The exhibition, which takes place as part of the 20th Anniversary of The Glass Furnace (Cam Ocağı Vakfı) and the United Nations International Year of Glass, is inaugurated to visits as a detailed presentation of the art of glass. Studiously selected works from the collection of The Glass Furnace, which exceeds more than 2,300 pieces, showcased both in Turkey and abroad, representing the art of glass, will be meeting viewers at AKM Gallery between 3-25 December 2022. The exhibition, where expertly applied examples of all the main techniques of the field, such as hot glass blowing, flame shaping, sand casting, fusion, mould shaping, bead and enamel, can be seen, is a comprehensive introduction to the art of glass. The exhibition, in which light, reflection, and colour come to the fore, is accompanied by videos detailing glass techniques and application methods and providing a closer look at glass production. In addition to the contribution of the exhibition to education and promotion, it is possible to see similar works that exceed the limits of techniques. We welcome all art lovers to our presentation.
