Dance
The Yvette Bozsik Dance Company, one of Hungary's leading dance groups celebrating its 30th anniversary, is coming to İstanbul!
Galánta Dances
For Yvette Bozsik, interpreting Zoltán Kodály's most popular orchestral work, the "Galánta Dances," signifies a return to roots in many respects. Like in the early stages of her career, she predominantly utilizes butoh dance, combining Japanese traditions and Hungarian folk dances with elements of contemporary dance to create a special harmony. Bozsik dedicates this choreography to butoh master Endo Tadashi.
The Rite of Spring
The 110th anniversary interpretation of Igor Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du Printemps / The Rite of Spring," first premiered in 1913, is staged for the first time by the Yvette Bozsik Dance Company! At the request of the National Dance Theatre, this version has been renewed with costume, scenic design, and choreography, allowing the company to celebrate its 30th anniversary and commemorate the work's anniversary year.
