Located in the district of Beyoğlu, which constitutes an important part of İstanbul’s social and cultural identity, on Bostan Street to be precise, Tarık Zafer Tunaya Culture Center was used as a marriage office until 1993. It served from 1993 to 2017 as a multipurpose cultural center. The building which was constructed to honour Tarık Zafer Tunaya, who had played a significant role in the development of politics in Türkiye, was restored in 2020 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in a way that still preserves its former architectural texture. A center that has the capacity to host several types of events with its 110-seat theatre, 97-seat screening room, exhibition halls and multipurpose saloon, it is a high profile stop along the Beyoglu Culture Route.
